The Body Shop, today unveiled exquisite gifting for the festive season endorsed by
brand ambassador and actress, Dia Mirza, in New Delhi.
(I had an invite for the event today, but I couldn't make it due to work commitments. Now looking at Dia's resplendent pictures I so wished I had attended the event, next time, next time I will)
(Editor's note- I adore Dia's elegant suit and earrings and naturally radiant makeup- I've picked a few ideas for my makeup on Karva Chauth from Dia's look !)
The Body Shop unique gifts have been carefully chosen and beautifully packaged for the festivities to provide a delightful and pampering treat for someone special.
Holding true to the
tradition of Diwali, the celebration at the store comes to life with picturesque
lamps, rangoli and giant gifts displays.
Adding grandeur to the festivities,
Dia also unveiled ‘Gift of Life’, an inspirational painting by Dia Mirza
specially made for the occasion. Supporting The Body Shop’s ongoing commitment
to give back to the community, the pretty painter painted an incredible piece
of art that will help raise funds for ‘Shakti Vahini’, an NGO that works for
the cause of Human Rights.
Speaking on this special occasion,
Dia Mirza shared, “Diwali is one of my favourite festivals
as it gives me an opportunity to celebrate the festivities with my near and
dear ones. This Diwali is also special for me as I have picked up gorgeous gift
sets from The Body Shop all of which are loved by my family. All gifts contain
at least one Community Fair Trade ingredient which means that every gift I
purchase at The Body Shop helps to light up the lives of people in
marginalized communities around the world and give them a reason to celebrate
with us.”
‘Gift of Life’ will be placed at The
Body Shop Select City Walk store for a time period of 10 days. During this time
period, the painting will be a gifted to the highest shopper at The Body Shop
store and the amount will be donated to Shakti Vahini’.
