Now I couldn't really wait forever for the makeup Gods (or Goddesses) to have mercy on me & launch some good eyeshadow primer in India,I decided to take matters in my own hands.Here comes online shopping & international shipping to my rescue.Now instead of spending a fortune on UDPP I decided to try my trusty NYX & ordered NYX HD eyeshadow base. And O-M-G am I thrilled that I did?!!

What NYX Claims about its HD eyeshadow base-

The base does even out the skin tone, but doesn't do anything to smooth out fine lines (that I'd think is the job of under eye cream,expecting this primer to multitask ain't actually fair).It does boost the vibrancy of the shadows and makes them last longer

The Ingredients-

NYX HD Eyeshadow base is Cruelty Free and lasts for 9 Months after opening.Each tube contains 8 grams of product & costs $ 7.

The doe foot applicator makes precise application of the base very easy, the packaging is very hygienic and functional.

The eyeshadow base is light skin colored, non greasy and blends out to a clear transparent smooth finish.

The NYX HD eyeshadow base completely blended out. Even on duskier skin tones there is no obvious grey cast after applying the base.

The magic of this eyeshadow base from NYX works wonder on some of the most badly pigmented eyeshadow. Here I've swatched my Colorbar eyeshadow (Midnight blue) which absolutely refuses to show up on bare skin, I was about to throw this shadow in trash, as I have never been able to make it work. But when I swatched it on top of NYX HD eyeshadow base, it turned super pigmented & vibrant on skin.

I swiped a whole range of highly pigmented, poorly pigmented, metallics,mattes & shimmers shadows on NYX HD eyeshadow base and on bare skin.

Every single time NYX HD eyeshadow base

• Made the shadows more vivid & pigmented
• The glittery eyeshadows, the glitter visibly popped out  and stayed firmly embedded in the eyeshadow (many glittery shadows have high glitter fall out)
• The metallic shadows the metallic sheen was brightened.
• Powdery mattes applied more evenly and didn;t experience patchy fading.
• 10-12 hours of crease free, fade resistant wear time.
