The Comeback Post & What have I been up to these past few weeks?!

'Comeback'  was a word I only associated with aging movie stars hopelessly trying to get their groove back.I never quite imagined that I'd be writing a 'Comeback Post' I guess I had underestimated inertia & Newton's first law of motion.

I have spent quite a few hours these past few days staring blankly at my computer screen willing myself to write, but writer's block coupled with tons of very important things going on in my life had forced me to let blogging take a back seat for a while.

I've received tons of mails, comments from readers,fellow bloggers and PR reps asking me-'Where have you been?' 'Why are you not blogging?' 'When will you start posting?'

So I thought while we are on the comeback post, I'll share with all of you what have I been up to...
I hope some of my experiences will give a bit of motivation and inspiration to other women out there take professional risks and grab good career opportunities when they come their way.

Few months back I got an exciting career opportunity within my company, based out of the Head Office in Mumbai.The role had a much wider canvas and many learning opportunities.
I was very excited about this new role and my Hubby understood and shared my passion and decided to support my move.Contrary to everybody's expectation & common wisdom, I said YES! to the new role in a new location.
(Lesson learned- Take calculated risks & grab the opportunity)

Adios Delhi...Hello Mumbai!!

Hello Sunshine(s), right now I know most of you would still be cuddled up in your duvets and snoozing,by the time you all will be reading it , I'd be off to a new city.So minutes before my flight I decided to make time for a quickie post ;)

Today I'm shifting to Mumbai due to work related transfer.And Boy am I gonna miss Delhi!The food,the shopping and the expansive roads,happening people,metro and whatnots :(

Now before I get all misty eyed I better update all of you that, due to shifting,house hunting and generally settling in I'll be unable to post for next two weeks or announce winners for ongoing contests till around Christmas.Sorry about the delay,but just with me on this one and I promise all the contest winners will get their goodies soon.

I'm quite looking forward to settling in Maximum city & hope to meet many of my fellow blogger friends in Mumbai too :)

• The Blog Sale is open to people residing in India. 

Condition of the items

• Items in the blog sale are a mix of brand new items& some pre-loved and gently used articles.Every item clearly mentions whether the item is New or not. 
• I review my vanity and makeup items on a monthly basis, only fresh items with long enough time window, from their best before dates have been included in the sale.
• All the items will be sanitized before shipping.

  Mode of Payment

• By online fund transfer to my ICICI bank a/c.Once you have finalized the item and confirmed the sale, I'll mail you my account details for fund transfer.

 Mode of Shipping

• I will be using Indian Postal services to dispatch the orders.All items will be securely wrapped with lots of love and also bubble wrap.
• The items will be sent by registered speed post and will come with a tracking number and tracking link.
• The shipping charges will be calculated basis the total parcel weight.To check the applicable shipping rates tariff  please refer the India Post Link here. 
• Most small parcels with 3-4 makeup items will cost around Rs 75/- for shipping anywhere in India, and Rs 50/- for shipping in NCR.
• However in case of multiple items/ handbags/Heavier items (like body wash etc) being purchased the shipping charges will be calculated as per India Post tariff.
• The sale closes on 25 Oct 2012 9.30 am,Please ensure the payments are transferred by 26 Oct '12 6.00 pm & all the items will be shipped out on 27 oct'12.
• I'll not be responsible for any transit damage or lost parcels,my responsibility ceases after dispatching the items and providing you with a IPS Tracking link.
