Inglot freedom system eyeshadow palette and haul!

Hey Girls! let me introduce you to the latest love of my life, Ta-da!! my spanking new Inglot neutral eyeshadow palette!

I've been eying some lovely neutral palettes online for a while,but the crazy international shipping had been putting me off. I decided to pick something locally & was debating between MAC & Inglot eyeshadows..on a random trip to Inglot my resolve to go easy on makeup, crumbled and I made a dash to the billing counter with my mini haul!

The haul! I snagged one empty 5 pan palette and 5 eyeshadow refill pans.It set me back by almost Rs 2900/-, but such glorious site of makeup, always makes my heart do a double flip!
Btw Inglot has recently hiked up the price of their refill square pans by 25% from Rs 300 to 400/- a piece. You can still pick up the old stock from the major brands site, however the new stock in stores carry the revised price tag.

The new inglot eyeshadow palettes are available in square shape only, inglot has globally phased out its round eyeshadow palettes.The new square empty palette is extremely sturdy, with slots for individual eyeshadow pan and 4 extremely strong magnets at each corner. This kind of palette cannot be just flipped open (unless you are willing to chip your nails and ruin your mani!) you need to gently slide the top aside to reveal the palette.

A little beauty haul to kickstart the holiday season!

So I've been MIA from blogosphere for ages ...With a killer work schedule I haven't had a breather in months...but today after aeons I decided to finally dip my toes and test the waters of beauty blogging ;)

I know you are wondering where are my own pics, duh! Dear Hubby went out to check wrist watches for himself leaving me in the store and tsk tsk I couldn't click my own pics while getting my makeup done,i did click my pic which turned out blurry and crappy..anyways... there's always a next time :)

INGLOT AMC pure pigment eyeshadow number 22 review,swatch and eye makeup look

INGLOT AMC Pure pigment eyeshadow looks like fairy dust in a jar,the first time I saw this baby I was smitten I had never seen a shadow quite as pretty...
Texture wise Inglot AMC pure pigment # 22 is very similar to MAC's Crush metal pigment.This particular pigment looks like flecks of purple gold duochrome.This kind of pigments need to be crushed with your eyeshadow brush and then blended to create a sheer to medium coverage when used dry.You can use these wet (just dampen your brush with drop of water).When used wet the intensity of the pigment really comes to life.It gives off a highly reflective metallic sparkle which comes of predominantly gold with just a hint of purple.When used with a base the pigment really pops!

2 grams of pigment comes in standard INGLOT screw top jar. The packaging is very sturdy and very functional.Just like every other Inglot products there are no names just impersonal numbers which do make it tough to remember your favorites.Priced at Rs 700/- these are more expensive than MAC pigments in terms of per gram cost, but as MAC pigment jars contian lot more product the overall cost of each MAC pigment jar works out higher than that of INGLOT pigment. 2 grams might not sound like a lot of product but trust me , you just need the tiniest bit of pigment and a little goes a long way.
Like all Inglot products this one too is paraben free and not tested on animals.

MAC Lady Danger lipstick, swatches and Dupe

MAC Lady Danger is a super bright bold warm toned Red with very strong orange undertones.Its matte and extremely pigmented.The shade just says 'Look At Me- I'm Hot Hot Hot'

This is a statement lipstick,all you need a clean well primed skin and a swipe of your eyeliner and this completes the look. This shade will suit warm,olive tones and duskier girls a lot.

This pic was clicked 2 hours after first applying Lady Danger lipstick,though it looks a tad muted in the pic below, this is a very bright eye catching shade, definitely Not safe for Work!

The closest dupe of MAC Lady Danger lipstick I've come across is Inglot 103 Lipstick.

Compared to Inglot 103 lipstick Lady Danger is matte and doesn't has any sheen, though the shades are pretty close,MAC Lady Danger is a tad muted more red than orange.

Inglot 103 is creamy,has a high sheen and looks more vivid,in terms of lasting power MAC Lady danger outscores over Inglot 103 Lipstick.

So which one are you snagging? MAC Lady Danger or Inglot 103?

Say hello to Orange lips with Inglot 103 lipstick! Its really HOT!!

If you need a piping Hot Orange lipstick to zing up your life then its time for Inglot 103 Lipstick!

I've been lemming for some bright bold orange lippie,but every time I try MAC So chaud , one look my lips in the mirror I freeze like I've looked at Medusa (random trivia One look by Medusa was supposed to turn any mortal man to stone, apparently her glare didn't work on women) 

.Anyway  the randomness aside,today I went to Inglot and the Boldest, Brightest & Craziest Orange lipstick caught my eye- Number 103. 

This is a very saucy shade in the tube and enough to scare away anyone, but I was in a specially brave mood today so I decided to try out 103, 107 & 206 on lips. Shade 103 just cried out my name and I had to get this baby right then.

(The shade is more orange than you see in the pics here the flash is making the red more prominent)

 The shade is a bright neon orange in the tube, without shimmer or glitter.The shade is nicely pigmented and has a creamy texture with beautiful sheen to it. There is a very faint fragrance which is quite pleasant and the lipstick is very hydrating, even without a lip balm underneath my lips feel amazingly soft after wearing this.

The lipstick is made with Vitamin E and apricot kernel oil moisturizing formula & are Paraben free. Inglot doesn't test on animals and this one is cruelty free.

The packaging of Inglot lipsticks is really classy, thick heavy metallic black square tube contains 4.5 grams of lippie.The lipstick is priced at INR 550/- and the full 4.5 gram quantity make it a great value (unlike brands which only give 3 grams of lippie in a tube *cough MAC cough*).

The pricing is great too when you compare drugstore brands like Revlon/ L'oreal/ Bourjois etc have hiked there lipstick prices to up to 600- 700 bucks range this seems like a great value. When Inglot lipsticks were first launched in India almost 3 years back these cost Rs 800/- and with a price correction these are the best value lipstick in market today.

Inglot Freedom system lipstick number 84 is an intense dark burgundy shade.The texture is creamy and the color goes on very smooth on the lips. The shade is best suited for medium to duskier skin tones.

The color stays on for over 5 hours easily and even after meals the lip stain remains.
