Inglot freedom system eyeshadow palette and haul!

Hey Girls! let me introduce you to the latest love of my life, Ta-da!! my spanking new Inglot neutral eyeshadow palette!

I've been eying some lovely neutral palettes online for a while,but the crazy international shipping had been putting me off. I decided to pick something locally & was debating between MAC & Inglot eyeshadows..on a random trip to Inglot my resolve to go easy on makeup, crumbled and I made a dash to the billing counter with my mini haul!

The haul! I snagged one empty 5 pan palette and 5 eyeshadow refill pans.It set me back by almost Rs 2900/-, but such glorious site of makeup, always makes my heart do a double flip!
Btw Inglot has recently hiked up the price of their refill square pans by 25% from Rs 300 to 400/- a piece. You can still pick up the old stock from the major brands site, however the new stock in stores carry the revised price tag.

The new inglot eyeshadow palettes are available in square shape only, inglot has globally phased out its round eyeshadow palettes.The new square empty palette is extremely sturdy, with slots for individual eyeshadow pan and 4 extremely strong magnets at each corner. This kind of palette cannot be just flipped open (unless you are willing to chip your nails and ruin your mani!) you need to gently slide the top aside to reveal the palette.

Weekend hauling Trinkets and makeup from GK 1, M block market

So I did a tiny little haul on Sunday (well we won't talk about the online shopping sprees now will we?!) So I begged cajoled Dear Hubby to take me to GK 1-M block market.

Well surprise, surprise I didn't really have anything on my shopping list but I was seriously craving some tikki chaats ,gol gappas and chicken momos for days.
Okay I know what you are wondering why on earth would I travel 40-50 km back & forth for some random chaat.Well sorry Missy I just cant explain... I'm a foodie & yes I'm the kind of person who would travel long distances just to tuck in some snacks :P.
I had been hooked on to some seriously delicious palak patta chaat (Must Try!!)and chicken momos at Mahesh (or Ramesh) Chaat store, next to Prince Paan at M block for over 6-7 years now! 
Seriously Girls if you are in GK 1 you cannot afford to miss out on snacking there, you can easily spot it this is the store with a giggly bunch of 10-15 Girls waiting for their turn at gol -gappa counter at any given time of the year!.

Okay after I was done with my snacking, and I had charged up my batteries I wanted to shop,shop,shop. Now I dunno why I was tooooo lazy to click pics, but there is an awesome deluge of super cute chiffon tops and blouses and girlie tops with lace work and pallazzo pants and some awesome handbags and footwear at M block market.

I had been hankering for some quirky statement necklaces and I picked up these two pieces of bijoux. One is a turqouise necklace with gold metal bead work and the second one is long multilayered antique gold beads and metal bead necklace.I <3 both the pieces and these were an absolute steal at 550/- bucks for both!!

I also snagged some goodies from Revlon after ages, I picked up this very fun and fresh nail polish shade called 'Bright Orange' and a coral lippie. *yes my coral obsession, knows no bounds*

This pic was clicked indoors with flash,so the shade looks much brighter infact its a beautiful milky oranges, very 70's kind of flower child shade. I wore it to work today and I must say nothing like a pop of orange on your tips to help you survive manic Mondays ;)

Coastal Scents Eyeshadow brushes and eyeshadow haul!!

Coastal scents had always intrigued me with their range of pocket friendly makeup items. I had been lemming for some good quality eyeshadow brushes on a budget (the ones that didn't expect me to sell off  one of my kidneys to buy a makeup brush kind of price range!) 

I had heard mixed reviews about their makeup brush quality and I wasn't entirely sure of placing an order.Around New Year's time Coastal scents had 20% Off on their makeup brushes and after contemplating over whether to order or not for over 3 months I finally took the plunge!!

I had taken the cheapest shipping option (First class Mail International $ 10.89) My order got delivered within 12 days which considering it was an International order shipped around New Year sale season was delivered in reasonable time frame.Total total cost of all my items excluding shipping was $ 15.34.

So here's my little haul, go on now feast your eyes.

You all know what an ardent Inglot Lip Gloss/Lip paint duo & Lipstick lover I've been for ages. This time however I wanted to buy some stuff from the Freedom system.

Freedom system basically allows you to choose a palette and fill it up with face powder / powder blush / eyeshadows / lipsticks in your pan and custom create a palette.I've reviewed my Inglot Lipstick palette & Inglot Eyeshadow palette earlier, you can click on the links & read more details.

In store you can't pick & choose only refill pans for purchase without the palette.However online you can pick & choose which eyeshadow /lipstick /concealer/blush/brown wax refills you need to buy from freedom system.

The website-The site is user friendly but could improve the eyeshadow swatch quality,many of the finishes and shades are not easy to make out.Overall interface is easy to use.

The package- Everything was securely bubble wrapped. I chose COD- cash on delivery option.The shipping time was 3 days including a Sunday.

The Shipping- Currently the website is offering free shipping.

The Customer service Helpline- Exceptional service, I spoke to an associate named 'Girish' I needed to change 2 eyeshadow shades,the next day after my order (before items were dispatched). He not only took my request but followed up with 4 calls to confirm the specifics of the order.Really appreciate their customer service.

The glitch- while all my items reached me, however one eyeshadow shade Pearl 407 was sent to me in round pan instead of square pan,though the order & invoice states square pan.I already have round eyeshadow palette so not so much of an issue for me, but I can imagine if somebody has a square palette then this could be a major issue.
