Just when Duchess Kate wanted to flaunt her brand new hair style with side swept bangs and darker mane,a vicious bout of morning sickness forced the Royal couple to confirm that indeed the ' bun's in the oven'!! 
Yes the Big Baby News is officially out and Will & Kate are going to be proud parents soon!

While Kate watchers are busy speculating if Kate is expecting twins! Well as the poor Gal is just in her 8th week no such confirmation seems to be happening anytime soon.Us fashion suckers are left wondering how will Kate manage the sartorial fashion challenge? Genelia Deshmukh walked the ramp as their showstopper.

The collection saw a mix of fabrics varying from digital on silks, soft lurex,cotton jerseys to cashmere and feathers and embellishments to accentuate their designs.

Gavin's collection was my personal favorite from Day 2 showcase.This is the very first time Gavin has played with a palette of light airy colors mixed with strong pump of neons. His entire collection was full of delicate gowns made with french chiffon. The highlight of the collection was was the shape & fluidity of the gown.The embroidery and encrustations were at a minimal, swarowski crystals were used to accentuate the gowns .Gavin used a nude colored form fitted skirts under his gown which created a very intriguing peekaboo effect.

Her collection was titled  "Bombay Bun Maska" and her collection was filled with light kaftanueque dresses in eclectic prints, Tees with quirky prints, and a riot of colors and the unmistakable 'Kolhapuri chappals'

Aishwarya back to her Glam Avatar at Longines event!

The Mommy B 'Ash' finally a return to her former svelte and Glam avatar sporting a Dior gown and D&G short jacket at the Longines's launch of Saint-Imier collection marking the Swiss luxury watch brand's 180th Year anniversary.

After past 1.5 years of donning kaftans, floor length kurtas, curtains, bed spreads and what-nots to make do with her new mommy figure, Ash finally donned an attire that flatters her and thank God for small mercies! I really was getting tired of those fugly outfits!

Soha Ali Khan at Saif and Kareena Sangeet bash-What Not to wear Exhibit A

I bet you have all seen What Not to Wear -India on your Idiot box and tried to cop some styling tips from the show too.*Never mind that many times the After looks in the show, are worse than before*

I present to you What Not to wear 'Exhibit A'-Soha Ali Khan, Afterall Soha plays the Style Guru, I think she is fair game for style scrutiny.

Soha today turned up at the much hyped Sangeet ceremony of Big Brother Saif- Kareena's nuptials, sporting Victoria Beckham'ss surly look, Hmmm...why so serious S? 

Soha's outfit left me scratching my head... 

Is it a saree?

Is it a suit?

 Is it a pair of slacks and Mommy's hand me down black blouse teemed with a hurriedly draped dupatta?

Or is it that you found Mommy's old saree in the trunks in the attic and asked your friendly neighborhood Tailor to fashion your and Beau-Kunals' outfits from the same Saree... 

Hmmm that should explain why Kunal's sporting a black stole with brocade border..

The disaster with this look just didnt end with the dress,Sorry Soha while I like your eye makeup, it just doesn't works with your lippie or your outfit. 
And what with your nail lacquer Hon? Your finger nails are bare and your toenails have grey lacquer on...didn't get time to finish your mani?

Kim Kardashian Inspired Smokey Grey eye makeup look

Kim Kardashian the veritable Queen of the Smokey eye makeup, usually sports a dark black smokey look, but one of my favorite Kim Kardashian smokey eye look,features her with grey smokey eyes.

I have had this pic on my scrap book of 'looks-to-do' for a very long time, and as my Project 101 Eye makeup looks has been slackening off,today I decided to finally give it this look a whirl.
I used MAC Heirloom Kohl pencil on 3/4th of my lid to create a grey smokey base,and it blended so well that I didn't need to top it off with powder shadow. This look was done in a jiffy and I thought it turned out quite well.
Kim sports a frosty pinkey nude lippie in this picure, but I decided to go with milky nude lips instead & I topped off this look with MAC Cremesheen lipglass-Pricvate screening (from the Reel Sexy collection)

Scouse Brow - Is this Duchess Catherine's biggest makeup blunder yet?

It all started with a humble effort at Do your own makeup by Kate at the time of the Royal wedding and gradually this DIY project seems to be going horribly wrong as Duchess Kate seems to have taken to the Scouse brows with vengeance.


'Scouse Brows'- what's that you ask? The latest fashion fad which has taken the Royals, the Celebs and commoners in its grasp. The scouse brows are harsh black, thick and severe brows which has a very strong vertical edge on the inner eye corner.It overpowers your whole face & adds years to your face.

Check out the pics below- the one on extreme left taken at the time of the engagement, notice the much softer brow shape and color. Now contrast this with the extremely harsh scouse brows Kate is seen sporting in her wedding pics.

Surprisingly enough ever since Kate debuted her Scouse brows sales of Eye grooming products has gone up by 600% in UK!!

Kareena Kapoor inspired monochromatic daytime Eye makeup look from Lakme fashion week 2012

As you all really loved my Kareena Kapoor's Lakme Fashion week 2012 inspired purple smokey eye makeup look, here's the most requested look from the collection which was a monochromatic day time one with winged eyeliner.

This look proved to be such bee-yatch!! First I realized my gel eyeliner pot had dried up and I revived it with Inglot Duraline and in the process got blackened inky fingers, which just refused to go,then just as I started doing eyes I realized I had smudges all over the place! If that wasn't bad enough my deep set eyes meant the winged eyeliner didn't quite turn out the way I wanted- Total kaput! Eeeeks!!

Finally  just when I was about to throw in the towel I managed to finish the look! Phew!! Hope you guys like the look :) (please say you do, I officially went bonkers with it :P)

Kareena's Lakme Fashion week 2012 inspired purple smokey eye makeup look

Lakme Fashion Week 2012 showcased Lakme's Monochrome collection and amongst the four looks featured on Kareena Kapoor was this beautiful purple smokey eye makeup look.
I love the combination of shimmery smokey purple color teemed with green gold and though this eye makeup looks intricate its surprisingly easy.

Kareena sports green contacts in the pics and it compliments the gorgeous green gold shade on Kareena's lower lashline.
