Looking for quick cleansing and super soft skin in a jiffy, then try these Kara moisturizing wipes with honey & almond.
I'd tried out Kara cleansing wipes when they were first launched almost 3 years back, I tried out some other variant (one with sun protection )and I wasn't exactly too thrilled with it. So I actually didn't bother with Kara wipes again for a long long time. Then one day, I couldn't find my regular cleansing wipes and had to grab these in a pinch. I tried these and was very surprised by how easy it made my whole cleansing, toning & moisturizing ritual (I'm not very religious about my CTM ritual btw)
Recently I bought MAC cleansing wipes for my mom (which costs an exorbitant INR 1500/- for 100 wipes!) and I was struck by the similarities between the MAC & Kara (Honey almond) cleansing wipes. Both have nice subtle fragrance, are extremely moist & hydrating and leave the skin feeling soft & supple.
I'd not say that Kara is an exact dupe, but for its price it's an excellent substitute.About the Kara wipes-
- 100% Natural & Biodegradable wipes
- Dermatologically safe
- Dimension of each wipe 150 mm x 200 mm
- 25 wipes for INR 95/-
- Manufactured by Birla Cellulosic a unit of Grasim Industries
Packaging- is simple plastic with a peel off front labeling to extract tissues. One needs to be careful to close the peel off covering else the wipes tend to lose moisture and dry out.
Here I've swiped transfer resist gel eyeliner, topped with shadow. Lets see whether it is up to some heavy duty cleansing.
One swipe removes any eyeshadow, sheer lipstick / gloss/ powder compact. Two to three swipes gets rid of transfer resist makeup as well.
Overall Thoughts- For quick makeup removal, cleansing and moisturizing in one go this is an excellent product. Especially if you are a girl-on-the-go and need quick makeup removal / cleansing solution you'd love it.Highly recommend.
This looks good...will try it out...thanks for sharing :)

ReplyDeleteI tried out all the variants and my favorite is the Cologne, they are seriously amazing for makeup removal :)
ReplyDeletesounds good...I did try the yellow kara wipes and they were good but didn't like the makeup remover ones!!!
ReplyDeletePooja-Do try you'd like it
ReplyDeleteManya- haven't tried the citrusy one yet,but I like that these don't dry out skin at all
Swarnalai-I tried the cologne one, but it was too strong for me, great that it works for you :)
Swati-yes i think quality varies a bit as per the variant, this one works for my skin, I found some other variants a bit more greasy /heavily fragranced
Nice review, I might try these once my baby wipes finishes :P. I usually use baby wipes to remove my make up. Specially with this very cold Delhi weather, the tap water is freaking cold to touch. So for those lazy days my baby wipes really comes in handy ^_^.
