Beth Ditto exclusive performance in Berlin to celebrate launch of her first cosmetics line, with M.A.C Cosmetics
Beth Ditto stepped off her tour bus in Berlin this week to attend and perform at an exclusive party to celebrate the launch of her collaboration with M.A.C.
She began the day with local and global media interviews at the M.A.C store on Rosenthalerstrass.
The evening event took place at MADE - a multi-use venue about creativity and working with a diverse group of performers and artists.
For the evening party close to 400 guests attended from the a-list and cool Berlin scene. Actresses Heike Makatsch and Carolina Vera - electro-punk singer Peaches - hip hop artist Michi Beck - presenters Tyron Ricketts and Jasmin Great and local designers Mongrels in Common and Patrick Mohr, all walked the red carpet to a wall of photographers and broadcast outlets.
Beth took to the stage not once, but TWICE to perform her latest tracks including I Wrote the Book, Move in the Right Direction and a rendition of Madonna's Vogue, bringing on-stage one of Lady Gaga's tour dancers, who was a guest of the event. The Gossip DJ Nathan delivered a set throughout the night that fuelled the coolest, most influential and recognizable crowd in Berlin.
In total over 100 media from the country attended ranging from Berlin street style blogs, fashion and beauty publications and art and design magazines.
Beth's team and media guests stayed at Soho House and were transported around the city in a fleet of cars provided by MINI.
The M.A.C & Beth Ditto collection will be available at MAC locations worldwide and India in July / August 2012.
