Wish all fellow Indians heartiest greetings on 63rd Republic Day.
Growing up every year watching the Annual Republic day parade had been a key memory.Every time attending the republic day parade on Rajpath I've always been filled with a sense of solemn pride & a realization of how vast & varied our country is & the progress we have made in these past 6+ decades.
Despite all the things that might not be right with our country and so many things I'd like to see improve, the republic day parade has always inspired me & renewed my faith in our great Nation.
Being a 'Fauji Kid' the military displays and the bravery & gallantry award winners have held a special place in my heart.I'd like to make a special mention of brave young men who guard our nation & of this year's Gallantry award winners who made the supreme sacrifice Lt. Navdeep Singh (posthumous) winner of Ashok Chakra, Lt Col Kamaldeep Singh of Rajputana Rifles, Captain Ashutosh Kumar of Rajputana Rifles and Lt Sushil Khajuria of Grenadiers who were awarded Kirti Chakra, the second highest peacetime gallantry medal. I pray their families find the strength to deal with this loss.
I pray that each one of us can work together and give our very best in building India in to a strong, prosperous modern nation firmly rooted in its unique culture & diversity.
Now for the Eye makeup look of the day.The colors of our tricolor don't suit eye makeup much, but let's just a say in an Inspired moment I decided to do this look none the less.
