So this is my debut post on IBC! Phew. Slightly nervous since I’m around so many experts! I hope I don’t bore any of you. So I decided to dedicate my first post to my favorite eyeshadow palette of all times. This palette is by MISS ROSE. I’ll be honest with you guys, I was NOT aware of this brand when I bought it but lately I did my mini research on this brand and oh boy, I was amazed by the number of fans this brand has. I had my eyes on Lakme Ultimate Kohl, but I wanted something totally smudge proof and pocket friendly.
I've been using Maybelline Colossal kajal &I'm on my 3rd Coossal pencil.II love it, but just wanted to have a change of pace & try new stuff. Any Kohl I picked had to score higher to usurp Maybelline Colossal as my Go to Kajal.

SMOKY BLACK AND GOLD EYES OF THE DAY

Here's a very quick and easy black-gold smoky eye makeup look. I wanted to use my NYX Flamingo eyeshadow to create some unique look.On its own Nyx Flamingo is a mauve gold duo-chrome shade and applies very sheer.But when paired on top of a black kohl / gel liner it tuns into a very vivid black gold shade. So here's what I used for the look.

Step 1. Start with black kajal /kohl and apply it on your upper lashline in thick swipes and create a black v shape on your eye's outer corner. Use a smudger and smudge and smoke out the kajal on the entire lid,leaving the inner corner very lightly shaded.

LADY GAGA'S ZOMBIE BOY UNDERGOES DERMABLEND TRASFORMATION

In the buildup to Halloween, so many beauty addicts were busy trying to cop Lady Gaga's zombie girl look from her super hit-Born this way video.I can't remember the count of how many FOTD I saw of girls copying Gaga's decomposing corpse look.[Sheepishly I must admit-even I was tempted to try the look, though I need some art supplies to pull off the look, LOL ;) ]

Lady Gaga's Zombie look was actually inspired by her co-star in the video- Rick Genest ,a Canadian model known as Zombie Boy, who has his entire face,skull and torso covered in Tattoos.I know you are wondering, Halloween is long gone, why am I sharing this story with you now?

INGLOT EYESHADOW PEARL 407 REVIEW & SWATCHES

Inglot Pearl eyeshadow was one super pretty shadows I got in my latest Inglot Haul.

Its a peachy gold duo chrome. The color payoff is excellent and it applies smooth as butter. Its a great dupe of MAC Expensive Pink, though Inglot's Pearl 407 is a bit more vivid.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH PANTENE TOTAL DAMAGE CARE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

Pantene had recently launched their Total Damage Care Shampoo & Conditioner range,it promises to fight 7 signs of damaged hair-split ends,dry,rough,dull,weak,brittle tangles.

Pantene conducted a Bloggers Meet in Mumbai  and I was sent the shampoo & conditioner to try and share the review with you guys.So I got upon the task at hand with full gusto. I decided to try the product for 12 days and then do a detailed review about my experience with these babies.

A bit of flashback-I've been using Pantene Shampoo & conditioners (Hair Fall control-pink bottle ones) for over a decade. I do keep switching to other brands every now and then, when my hair starts acting up but always return to Pantene eventually.

My hair is straight, fine & silky.I shampoo & condition my hair daily.

EYEBROW SHAPING AND TWEEZING TUTORIAL

Remember the TV program 'Chandrakanta' from childhood? One of my most vivid memory of this program was a charater called 'Kroor-Singh' a.k.a. Mister Bushy Eyebrows! 

So bushy and iconic were his eyebrows that after almost 2 decades I still remember it.

Moral of the story-so while we do our Ooohs & Aaahs over the gorgeous MAC lippies and shadows,one thing that can most dramatically alter your face are your Eyebrows. 

Ladies its time to pull out your Tweezers and tame those brows!

Eyebrow basically define the angles on our face and well shaped eyebrows can open up your eyes and make them look bigger.It can give you an instant face lift with a well placed arch.

Here is what you need to shape and tweeze your eyebrows.

1 A well lit mirror (preferably magnifying one)

2.A pair of flat tipped tweezers

3.A pair of sharp scissors

4.eyebrow brush and comb

5.Some ice or aloe vera gel to soothe skin

6.A marker -concealer pencil / kohl pencil (whatever you have at hand)

10 FACTS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT MAX FACTOR

1.A while back I'd posted pics of some beauty gizmos, asking the readers to guess what these were. Unsurprisingly many were foxed by the strange looking devices.
