INGLOT LIPSTICK SHADE 215

INGLOT LIPSTICKS come in an ultra stylish heavy metallic tube.The lippies smell great & have a smooth even application, these are not very creamy in texture so you might want to use a lip balm before putting these on. Inglot has over 90 tempting shades in their lipstick range and choosing the ones you want is a task. Every time I'm in Inglot I run amok like a kid in a candy shop :) 

I picked up shade no. 215 after much deliberation, its a beautiful soft pink which is great for everyday wear. This one costs Rs 480 for 4 gm (which is a steal as earlier these cost as high as Rs 800,till Inglot reduced prices!) These last 2-3 hours on me and do not feather or bleed. You can top these with lip gloss if you want a high shine.

I love Inglot lippies & have my eyes set on Inglot shade no. 109 which is a very close dupe of Revlon Colorburst Chocolate

COLORBAR I DEFINE PENCIL MOSS GREEN

COLORBAR I-DEFINE EYE PENCIL Moss green is a forest green shade and needs 2 strokes for the color to show. This is nice eyeliner if you want to try a new shade of eyeliner, without it being over the top. I define eyeliners are smudge proof and waterproof, & don't feather or bleed.

Oriental blue is beautiful deep blue, which can be a good substitute for black liner for everyday wear.This one is much darker than Revlon colorstay Blooming Blue and its much harder in texture so can't be smudged or used as an eyeshadow.

LAKME GLIDE ON EYE COLOR-TURQUOISE BLUE has been in the market for a long while now but its such a eye catching shade that I just had to review it. 

These shimmery liners come in 7 lovely colors.The pencils are non-retractable but the sharpening type so plz do invest in a decent sharpner to ge best use out of these

.The color pay off is nice, it doesn't sting /irritate if applied on the waterline.Its smudge resistant but yes does smudge after a few hours of wear. The texture is smooth & creamy ,you can infactuse it as a eye shadow if blended well.

This one is a bright pop of pearly turquoise blue and great for adding that zing to any blue eye looks you might want to try.1.2 grams pencil costs INR 275/.Do check out the swatches below.

PRO FINEST SABLE KABUKI POWDER MAKEUP BRUSH is an ultra cute & very nifty kabuki brush & comes with its own mini leatherette casing & its a perfect little travel companion.

I had been planning to buy a Kabuki brush for a while, but as I don't use much of Mineral make up, I loathed the idea of spending a fortune on a kabuki brush & then I found this snazzy lil eye candy on ebay.com & it cost me INR 230/- including shipping!!!

I must admit I was expecting a crappy quality brush & I was indeed very surprised when I opened the courier.Inside was this nice fluffy brush & a very cute black leatherette casing.I love its mini casing, its such a great way to keep your brushes in great shape & hygienically while traveling.

This brush is made with natural goat hair, very dense & soft. I have been using it for over a month now and have not experienced any shedding or stray strands. Its great for mineral makeup, applying powder compact / blush / bronzer.The handle is nice small & comfortable. The brush dimensions are given below.

REVLON EYE & LIP MAKEUP REMOVER has long been a staple in my makeup kit & has been my most favorite makeup remover of all time.This creamy makeup remover lifts away all kinds of makeup including long wearing, transfer resistant, water proof makeup in 1-2 swipes. It leaves skin comfortably soft & free of residue, non irritating, doesn't cause break outs & is ophthalmologist tested.

It contains Mineral oil, iso propyl palmitate & Panthenol. A tube of 60 ml costs INR 160/- I've swatched different eyeliners & mascara to give you an idea how good is the quality of this product. Highly recommended. Grab this before you try any other expensive eye / lip makeup remover.

MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO EYELINER- is a vivid & smooth eyeliner available in gold, greenish turquoise color, pink, purple ,blue & silver. These cost INR 200 a piece & have a nice color selection, the liner is smudge resistant & the color is well pigmented.I picked out purple one & i've used it on waterline without any problem.You can smudge it across the eyelids as a eyeshadow as well.Available across Maybelline counters across the country. THE BODY SHOP CAMOMILE GENTLE EYE MAKEUP REMOVER

THE BODY SHOP CAMOMILE GENTLE EYE MAKEUP REMOVER is All-in-one lash & lid cleansing, conditioning & softening.Its suitable for all skin types. 

The product is a transparent watery liquid (slightly sudsy) it works well for removing regular eye makeup but if you wear water proof makeup / transfer resist eye makeup then you might have some issue getting it completely off with this remover. Its cleanses out any residual eye makeup in 2-3 swipes. I've found this quite effective on Gel eyeliners, gets them off in a jiffy.

Its generally soothing on the eyes. And its quite popular with contact lens wearers.

Its shelf life is only 6 months after opening, so those buying the 250 Ml bottle might  not be able to finish the entire product off before expiry.Price INR 495 for 250 mL.

I've swatched different eyeliners to give you an  idea about its removing ability. 

Left to right- Maybelline colossal mascara, Maybelline eye studio gel eyeliner, Colorbar I define eye pencil, Revlon colorstay eyeliner & Maybelline Eyestudio eyeliner.

While in 2-3 swipes it gets most of the eyeliners off, the gel eyeliner takes 4-5 swipes, but the waterproof mascara refuses to budge despite almost 10 swipes. So if you are looking for something to get waterproof mascaras. I'd advice you to avoid this.

BIOTHERM EAU D'ENERGIE

Biotherm is a luxury skincare company owned by L'oreal. The brand focuses on use of mineral water containing thermal planktons in many of their products which is supposedly a key to healthy skin and a potent skin rejuvenator.

Biotherm has 4 body sprays in its fragrance range -Eau de Paradis , Eau Pure, Eau Vitamnee & Eau d'Energie.I had got Eau d'Energie as a prize courtesy Grazia magazine last year & I quite like its fresh citrus notes !

This delicate fragrance has joyous sun drenched notes of Orange pulp, sweet mandarin & lemon  which truly refreshes & awakens the body & spirit. Though it has a fresh crisp citrus notes it doesn't over power the senses.The body spray contains vitamin E which moistens and softens the skin for a smooth, velvety touch.

I have seen Biotherm retail in Debenhams outlets in India & at International airport's duty free shops. Its a must try for the summers.
