INGLOT DURALINE-MAGIC POTION TO CREATE A ZILLION EYELINERS

Ladies have you ever wished to have an eyeliner to match your every outfit?

Duraline's unique liquid fixing medium that can convert any makeup pigment,eyeshadow in to a vibrant eyeliner.Duraline comes in a small glass vial and has a dropper at the end of the dispenser,just take any of your favorite eyeshadow with a brush & just apply on your on your wrist / mixing palette put a drop Duraline,mix well and voila you have your eyeliner. Use a thin eyeliner brush and apply on your upper & lower lash line & you are good to go.

You can also use Duraline to apply eyeshadow all over your eyelid,but beware it dries quickly & blending shades will not be possible.Once applied the eyeliner / eyeshadow mixed with Duraline becomes transfer resistant and will need a mineral oil based remover like Revlon eye & lip makeup remover to get it off. 

Duraline is paraben free & not tested on animals. 9ml bottle costs INR 490/-These are at Inglot stores in Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkotta.

You can check out the pigmentation of the eyeliners made using Duraline below. I've used Inglot freedom eyeshadow palette for black & gold reflects & grey with silver & gold reflects.

REVLON COLORSTAY SOFT & SMOOTH LIPCOLOR-MOCHA SILK

REVLON COLORSTAY SOFT & SMOOTH LIPCOLOR is a long wearing lipstick with butter smooth texture & a fuss free packaging. The colorstay lippies come in a sleek black long tube with plastic cap & you can see the shade through the clear plastic top.

This particular shade I'm reviewing is called Mocha Silk (210) & was a gift from a friend in the US.Though I'd seen it many times at the Revlon counters in India I didn't give much thought to these as I'm more in to glossy textures. Coming back to this lippie, it is surprisingly soft & buttery smooth  upon application it doesn't dry out the lips & for a long wearing lippie its surprisingly comfortable to wear.Though when topped with gloss / lip balm it doesn't remain as transfer resistant.Mocha silk is a nude flesh toned color & great for day wear. It costs INR 600/- for 3.2 grams

This one has very faint lipstick smell but nothing over powering. I had read on one of my favorite blogger Cynthia's blog -Indian vanity case that her colorstay lippie smelled like medicine, but I was surprised because mine didn't smell anything like medicine.So I'm unsure if CZ's lippie was part of a bad lot or maybe the US formulation of the lippies has better fragrance. 

Personally I think of all the long wearing lipsticks I have used this one is at the top of the charts.Do let me know if you have used these. You can check out the swatches below.

MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY LIPCOLOR-RAISIN

MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY LIPCOLOR-RAISIN (SHADE NO. 765) is a long wearing liquid lipstick which becomes transfer resistant after drying up, the tube contains twist-up lip balm at the other end and once the lipstick dries up you can gloss it over with the lip balm.

The long wearing lipsticks are ideal for women who don't find time for frequent touch-ups.The product sounds very good in theory but fails miserably in reality.

I quite liked the shade Raisin (765) as its a deep rich berry-maroonish shade with gold micro shimmer,and the liquid lipstick looks great when applied to the lips.The color is intense & does not feather or bleed. The problem starts as soon it dries up on the lips it feels like a dried layer of paint upon your lips.The lips feel totally dehydrated after applying this and no amount of gloss application will help relive the dryness.

Though it lives up to the claim of being transfer resistant I find this un-wearable. I finally have managed to use the lip balm separately,i don't think I'll be using the lipstick at all.The lipstick has to be removed with a long wearing makeup remover only & cant be taken off with normal cleansers or removers.

It costs around INR 390/- & its a sheer waste of money.A word of advice-Steer clear of these.

MAYBELLINE WATERSHINE LIQUID GLOSS-NAKED BROWN is a basic everyday wear lip gloss in nude fleshy brown. For those of you who loved my INGLOT LIP DUO LIP GLOSS LIP PAINT 16 but dont want to spend 700 odd bucks on a lip gloss shade wise this is a very close dupe of Inglot lippie .But this one has a very strong cough syrup smell which puts me off these.These cost Rs 180 for 3 ml. ELF HEALTHY GLOW BRONZING POWDER gives a touch of sunshine to warm up every complexion with its soft and silky texture for a beautiful and natural glow.This one has more of a coppery antique gold finish, so its better suited for those with warm skin tone.

INGLOT LIP DUO LIP GLOSS LIP PAINT 16

Hi Ladies, I'd reviewed INGLOT LIP DUO LIP GLOSS LIP PAINT 17 earlier & as promised  here are the swatches of INGLOT LIP DUO LIP GLOSS LIP PAINT 16. You can read details about the product on my previous post.

Lip duo lip gloss lip pain 16 has creamy lip paint on one side in a soft nude brown which looks gorgeous by itself, the other side of the cube has beautiful molten muted copper with gold & pink shimmer. Do check out the swatches below & let me know if you liked it.

LAKME` STARSHINE LIP GLOSS

LAKME` STARSHINE LIP GLOSS are great for a pop of color to juice up your lips for wet shine. These are thick & sticky but this ultra shiny lip gloss gives your lips an intense vibrant look.

It has a strong candy smell & I'm not a fan of their brush applicators.These score high when you are going for a glam event & glossy lips are a must have. You can wear these alone or topped over a lipstick. Last for 1-2 hours.
