Taj Mahal heart shaped yellow diamond necklace (gift from Richard Burton) with farsi inscription on the reverse of the diamond. Self purchased the Duchess of Windsor diamond brooch, a 29 carat diamond ring (gift from Mike Todd),an antique diamond tiara (again a gift from Mike Todd).And the greatest of them all-The Taylor-Burton diamond weighing a whopping 69 carats!! Taylor later sold this diamond to fund a hospital construction in Botswana.

Such was her beauty & her passion  and the story of a life well lived.

NEW U-BUDGET LIPGLOSS-FLORMAR-SUPERMATTE LIP GLOSS

Flormar cosmetics are from Turkey & are available through 'New U' outlets (Retail chain owned by Dabur ). Flormar cosmetics are mass market lines and this particular product I picked is called Flormar Supermatte lip gloss.

I picked up shade no. 305 is a ultra creamy,gleaming textured coral-brown shade. Its got a heavy butterscotch candy smell and is very thick on application. It comes in a 10 mL tube (packaging looks unlike a lipgloss, more like a mascara tube) , it has a long wand applicator with brush at the end. I feel the brush is very thin & small to apply the lip gloss smoothly.Perhaps a flat spatula like applicator available in Bourjois might be better for such a thick consistency gloss.

The color is bright well pigmented. The tube is priced at INR 175/- which places it at a very attractive price point. The product on its own is good. I'm not huge fan of the thick consistency so those who dont like sticky lip gloss should avoid. 

This is a nice MLBB Nude color for duskier skin tones.Flormar also has Supershine collection which unlike these matte lipglosses has bright colors & shimmer,this range has 36 shades not all of which are available at New U outlets.Few shades in the Supershine collection are good for bridal makeup / wedding party looks. REVLON COLORSTAY ONE STROKE DEFINING EYELINER BLOOMING BLUE

REVLON COLORSTAY ONE STROKE DEFINING EYELINER BLOOMING BLUE is a stylish eyeliner pencil with deep blue casing with golden trimmings.

The colorstay one stroke defining eyeliner is extremely pigmented and doesn't feel waxy.Its totally smudge resistant and does not smear or fade for 12-14 hours. Its got a silky smooth application and does not tug the sensitive skin around your eyes while application, you can do winged eyeliner looks quite easily with this.This is the product to reach out for if you want to add drama & definition and want to try a different shade of blue.

I've seen black, glazed green & blooming blue shades in this series, there might be more but am yet to see those in Indian outlets. If you have dark brown eyes, this deep blue will compliment your eyes well.This is a waterproof eyeliner so at the end of the day you'd need oil based eye makeup remover to get this off. I have used it on my waterline & have had no problem but in case you are sensitive to this then might need to restrict this on your upper lashline only.

The eyeliner is pricey at 500/- but considering it'll last almost a year I think its worth it.

TIP- Sometimes for office wear I apply Blooming Blue eyeliner on my upper lashline & waterline and then coat with a black pencil eyeliner. It gives a very intense deep bluish-black shade that stays on for hours.Try it let me know if this tip worked for you.

REVLON BEYOND NATURAL CREAM LIP GLOSS-PLUMBERRY

REVLON BEYOND NATURAL CREAM LIP GLOSS is thick cream lip gloss from Beyond Natural range.

It has a clear glossy finish, it is sticky but not unpleasant.This gloss has a butterscotch flavor but not over powering.Three shades are available in this range, I got the darkest one called Plum berry / Prune. This is a my lips but better shade for me. I think duskier girls will enjoy this shade a lot. 

13.5 ml of lip gloss cost me around INR 500/- I had bought this a whole back so the price might have increased now.

CHAMBOR SHIMMER LIQUID EYELINER-METALLIC MAUVE

Chambor's shimmer liquid eyeliner is a water proof eyeliner with metallic hues.The product is cream based & dries off quickly & does not smudge. These claim to contain Vitamin A & E & contain no animal ingredients.Thanks to the sleek felt tip application is easy & precise. There are a total of 6 shades available & I picked metallic mauve its great if you want to move away from the usual black  / brown eyeliner but don't want neon colors on your eyes.

The colors are nicely pigmented & have a nice metallic shimmer finish.Each tube contains 2.5 mL costing INR 375/- & comes in a small stylish packaging The best part is the tubes are colored in the same shade as the liquid eyeliner they contain so very easy to spot these in your makeup treasure chest.
