Faces Go Chic Lipstick Mulberry Slush review and lip swatches

Mulberry slush- a creamy lipstick from Faces Go Chic range is a beautiful berry-pink shade. The shade is beautiful for everyday wear & it would suit a wide variety of Indian skin tones.

Its comes in a simple black plastic tube and has a faint smell of coconut cookies. It has silky smooth shiny finish without any glitter. Just the way I like my lippies :)The lipstick is decently pigmented and the texture is very similar to Revlon's Super lustrous lippies, albeit at almost one third the price, these are a great bargain.Faces has 10 shades in this range and the SA mentioned that Faces have launched some new 8-10 shades in the range.(I swatched so many lippies that I actually forgot the new shades-sorry!)

Like all creamy moisturizing lippies it lasts for around 3 hours [ or may be its just me- I can't stop snacking to test the longevity of lippies! LOL ;) ]

The lippie costs INR 199/- for 4.5 grams, though you can find these for less at select stores or online from www.stylecraze.com at INR 169/-

I'm totally digging this pocket friendly indulgence from Faces and I'm eying another shade from the Go chic range-Hazelnut- a beautiful buttery nude(y)-brown shade.

If you are in a mood for some beautiful lippies without bursting your piggy bank- these lippies are a must buy!

Have you tried Go Chic lippies from Faces- comment & share your experience:)

  3. The colour is great on you, but what struck me more is the application...neatest I've seen in a long time and most unachievable for me! ;) How did you do it??
LOL yup, I do the snacking too...my parents give me weird looks when I analyze my mugs and bottles to see if it is transfer resistant! :))

    1. Gee thanks :D I applied it straight from tube, but if you want a neater application, draw out your lip line with a matching lip liner shade (else go with a nude lip liner), use a firm lipstick brush to fill in the lipstick and clear away any smudged edges with a Q tips, Hope this helps :)

BTW even I totally keep checking out glasses & mugs to observe the staying power of my lippies LOL Same pinch

    2. Yeaa the lip brush thing, I am soo lazy I do that only for special occasions...rest of the time I exfoliate and pray that it glides on! :))
*ouch* @ the same pinch ;)

    3. :D A trick that might help- apply lip balm 5-10 mins before you do you lip makeup and wipe it off before applying lipstick, helps in applying lippie without bleeding the shade.
Another trick use the edges of your lipstick bullet as a lip pencil and outline your lips first directly with the lipstick without a brush and then fill in rest of the lips.
