Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick Silk Garnet review and lip swatches

Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick Silk Garnet is a shimmery deep plum - Bordeaux shade.It looks intense in the tube but surprisingly very creamy in texture and sheer on application.

It  has a coco-nutty fragrance (No not like coconut oil-think coconut cookies.that's more like it)

The packaging is run of the mill- black, chrome and a holographic rose embossed on the tube. I wish they'd jazz up the packaging a bit, this looks a bit too staid and boring to me.The pack contains 4.5 grams of lippie so the quantity is fairly good, its priced at INR 575/-

A peculiar feature of Chambor silk touch lipsticks is the tip of the lipstick bullet, its shaped like a hooked beak (reminds me of parrots!) I don't know the logic behind it, but the first few application are a bit awkward due to the shape of the lipstick.

The shade is actually quite sheer and I had to swipe it 4-5 times to build up the color you see in the hand & lip swatches  below.

 Lip swatches- Its a nice neutral  every day wear color , I can imagine wearing this to work. Though I think it might be strong shade for fairer lasses to don in the day time, duskier girls would enjoy this more.

Will I repurchase?- Chambor Silk touch lipsticks are nice and comfortable to wear, though I feel they are slightly pricey for the quality they deliver.The texture of these lippies is very nice and I'm keen to checkout some lighter shades from this range.
