NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Glow
Net Wt: 3.5 gms
Cost: Rs. 650 (In India) You can buy it online from www.cherryculture.com , www.ebay.com for around $6.5 plus shipping

My Review: I don’t own any cream blushes, so I was excited to try this out. When I first saw this shade, I was scared that it’ll be too bright for me. But once I tried it on, I really liked it.
Packaging: The blush comes in a simple, classy black pan, with a transparent lid so that you can see the blush. It doesn’t have a mirror.

Smell: This has no detectable smell, which is fine. I prefer my face products to be odorless.
Formulation: The blush is a cream formula and hence it feels quite thick & sticky. It’s extremely pigmented & you only need very little.

On the right-applied in single swipe Left blended out

Ingredients: PVP/Hexadecene Copolymer, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Octyldodeanol, Polyisobutene, C 12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Polyethylene, Bees Wax, Tocopheryl Acetate, B.H.A,  Mica, Pigment (C.I)

Glow CB 05: This is a bright, almost-clownish pink without any shimmer or glitter. The swatch looks intense, but when blended out, it gives a very natural flush.

The blush completely blended out looks very natural

What I like:
1.Very easy to use & blend. It’s idiot/newbie proof.
2.Gorgeous colour. It may look scary, but it’s lovely once you blend it out. Looks very natural, like a gentle flush of colour.
3.Colour can be easily built up or sheered out.
4.Very pigmented blush; you’ll only need a little & 3.5 gms will last a long time.
5.Cream blushes look much more natural than powder.
6.This shade will suit a lot of skin tones, from fair to dark, because of its pigmentation.
7.Dry skinned women will love this.
8.It’ll be really fantastic for winters when powder looks artificial & harsh.
9.Twelve gorgeous shades to choose from. Everyone is sure to find a shade that they like.
10.  Easily available online & fairly inexpensive if bought from foreign stores online.
11.  Hypoallergenic.
12.  Cruelty Free – No animal testing or animal products.

What I don’t like:
1.If you touch the blush with your fingers, you have to be careful about hygiene, or else might lead to contamination. I don’t touch it with my finger though, I use a cotton bud to apply it onto my cheek & then blend with my fingers.
2.Even though the packaging is really nice, I don’t think the blush will survive in the handbag without leaking.
3.Not too great for my oily skin. It slips & slides down my face & disappears quite soon. I have to top it up with powder which removes that natural, glowy look.
4.Might melt in summers. Make sure you store the pan flat on its bottom & not sideways or on its lid.
5.No mirror.
6.In India it’s available only in certain stores, at a much higher cost (650 bucks). Also, fewer shades are available in India.
7.No shelf life mentioned.

Rating: 3.5/5

Will I purchase: No. This is sure to last ages. Plus I have oily skin & prefer powder blushes.
Recommend: Definitely, especially for dry skinned women. The shades are simply gorgeous & impart a very healthy, natural glow. If your skin can handle cream products, this is a must buy.
