MAC Reel Sexy Collection Cremesheen Lip glass Private screening

A few days back I'd shared about the launch of M.A.C Reel Sexy Limited edition collection.MAC launched 4 Cremesheen lipglasses as a part of this LE collection- Private Screening, Cinestyle, Star Quality and Color saturation.

The Cremesheen glasses usually come in milky /creme finishes without any glitter or shimmer & today I'm reviewing MAC Cremesheen Lipglass Private Screening for you Girls :)
Private screening is a pale peach color with a milky finish to it. I had been avoiding glosses of late due to their stickiness was getting a bit much for me, but the Cremesheen lipglasses are not sticky at all.
It gives a nice luxurious, hydrated and slightly plumped up feel to the lips. The usual Vanilla flavor of MAC lippies is n added bonus.Whenever I wear MAC lippies or glosses I feel I have a fresh baked vanilla cookie under my nose, it just perks up my mood  :D
The gloss has upwards of 3 hours of wear time and it doesn't feather or slide off my lips.

Packaging is standard chic and stylish one from MAC.The tube comes with a wand tipped applicator. Priced at Rs 1150/- for 2.7 grams of lip glass.

On my pigmented lips 'Private Screening' Lipglass looks pale and milky when freshly applied. However after a few mins the shade settles into a nearly clear gloss and gives a nice smooth and plumped up look to my lips.It does tend to sink in the lip lines, but when sen in person its not discernible, the pics I clicked below were closeups on macro setting, so the lines look more pronounced than they do in person.
For a day time look I wore Private screening lipglass on top of a faded out lipstick stain, it gave a beautiful glossy sheen and hint of color. It set off my tan skin and worked well with dark black and grey smokey eyes.
In fact it makes me look very Kim Kardashian-eusque with milky nude lips and dark smouldering eye makeup ;)

I've worn Private screening lipglass  on top of many of my pinks and fuchsia lippies and it does work phenomenally well. Here's a lip swatch of Private screening lipglass on top of MAC cremsesheen Lipstick Speak Louder

Overall Thoughts-The Cremesheen Lip glasses are very hydrating, luxurious and non sticky. These glosses have a good wear time and the smooth almost gel like texture gives a sophisticate glossy finish.
I'm planning to buy some more shades, though I feel corals and pinks will be much more easier to pull off for most Indian skin tones than milky peach shades. Product wise I'll give it 9/10,shade wise it could do with a tad more color..

I'd recommend you check out this range 'coz they do have some good gems still up for grabs. I'm eying MAC cremesheen lip glass in Star Quality (pinky coral) from Reel Sexy Collection and Galaxy Rose from MAC Heavenly creatures collection.

    1. I had tried out plush glass and some other glossies from MAC earlier but didn't buy coz of stickiness thankfully cremesheens don't hv the high sticky factor.I usually wear my glosses on top of a lipstick so that works out well for my pigmented lips. try using a lipstick underneath that shud do the trick :)

  4. I wish I could get PRs to send me products too. :-\
Do you recommend coral for dusky skin pooja? Cos I am very iffy about trying anything in coral..I think peach would wash me off completely..

    1. Awww *hugs* cheer up hun
I think u shud try a pinky coral instead of peach. Peach washes duskier skin tones but the pinky corals add a more fresh and vibrant look to the Indian skin tones. Try and get a gloss/ nail polish with pinky undertones anything that has milky look will look quite a washout

    1. Yes it works best on top of bright lippie in just muting the bright shade a bit. Dupes hmm I can only think of one actually NYX round lip gloss in natural. Though that had very poor pigmentation and streaky texture.. Which other shades u think cud be a dupes? Tell tell, now u have piqued my curiosity :)

    1. Yes the two lighter shades are way too milky but the other two shades star quality and color saturation have much vibrant hues and look very pretty. Milky peach shade does look a bit odd IMO
