FACES Metaliglow highlighter Pink Pearl

I love beauty products that can Multitask and one such new find in my vanity kit is Faces Metaliglow highlighter in the shade "Pink Pearl"
Here's what Faces claims about Metaliglow.
"Super fine luminescent lotion for highlighting. Metaliglow is a lightly textured lotion with iridescent shimmer which has dual performance.
Metaliglow can be used alone or mixed with your favorite lotion to use over the face and body as an illuminator and create a sun kissed bronzed look."

Faces has 3 shades in the Metaliglow range, one is very light pearly white fluid(very close dupe for Colorbar Illuminator pen), this second shade is the medium pinky gold shade and the third shade is a dark bronze color.

Packaging- Is very simple & reminiscent of Swedish Medicine bottles with a screw top.The simple packaging is also functional, you can dip in your eyeshadow brush and use this as a base or take it out easilyon your palm to mix with foundation/ moisturizers.

The product texture is of shimmering liquid with a pearlescent finish.

Blended out it gives a beautiful luminescent glow to the skin. The glitter is barely visible unless you are under very bright light. Mixed with a tinted moisturizer /foundation this can be a great base for evening makeup.

FACES also claims "Due to its quick setting, non-smudging capabilities, it can also be used as an eyeshadow base so that colors look rich and pearlescent.

It extends, intensifies and holds eye shadow, allowing eyes to look runway perfect all day long by preventing eye shadow from creasing.

How to Use: Apply to eye lids before applying eye shadow or wear alone for a veil of color"

I honestly didn't have any expectations from Metaliglow as a eyeshadow base, but as it claimed to work as a base I decided to put it to test.I used all drugstore eyeshadows for the swatch test because these need maximum support of a good quality base to show up.The swatches speak for themselves, I was totally delighted that it actually works pretty well as a eyeshadow base.It accentuates the colors and the lasting power as well. I wiped the swatches with a dry tissue the eyeshadows without base all got dusted off  in a single wipe, but the ones with Metaliglow as a base stayed on pretty strong.

Left side swatches 2 swipes on bare skin , right side swatches 2 swipes on metaliglow used as a base.
Overall Thoughts- A versatile highlighter, eyeshadow base and a body bronzer all rolled in to one at an affordable price of INR 499/- (available for INR 399 at www.medplusbeauty.com),what more its easily available across country at all FACES counter and online stores. I'd highly recommend!
