TROPHY WIFE! BRIDAL GOLD EYE MAKEUP

The Big Fat Indian Wedding season is on in full swing here in Delhi. With Band bajaa baraat and blushing brides the theme du jour, here's my take on the Bridal eye makeup.
I'll be doing a 5 post series on different combination of bridal eye makeup. Here is first of my 1st look of the 5 Bridal Eye makeup looks for the wedding season.

The first look is called
'THE TROPHY WIFE'  its a combination of intense metallic gold with, dark bronzey brown and black winged eyeliner.

Products Used (Click on product name to read detailed review & see swatches)
 Brushes & Tools
  • Oriflame eyelash curler
  • QVS Eyeshadow brushes
  • The body shop eyeshadow blender brush
  • Vega smudge brush

1.Start by concealing dark under eye circles and pigmentation on your eyelids using the concealer.
2.On top use creamy nude shade as a base and apply all over eyelids, extending beyond the crease area right up to the brow bone.I've used nude shade from Revlon Illuminance in Skinlights palette.
3.Using a eyeshadow brush apply Glamor doll eyes shade 'Trophy Wife'. Pat the eyeshadow on your lids to prevent any fall out.
4. Use a crease brush and apply Inglot Pearl 409 in the crease area.Move the crease brush in a windshield wiper motion to smoothly blend out any hard lines. Use the same eyeshadow to shade the 'outer V' of your eyes. Also apply the dark brown eyeliner on your lower lash line & use a smudge brush to smoke it out a bit,top it up with dark brown eyeshadow on your lower lash line (use a small flat angled brush for this step)
5. Apply white gold shade on your highlight area of your brow-bone and near the tear duct (inner eye corner)
Use the blending brush to blend out the harsh edge between the highlight & crease color.
6.Apply kohl on your upper and lower lash line, use black gel liner on your upper lash line and create a winged outer edge with eyeliner.
7. Curl your lashes and apply 2-3 coats of mascara, use spoolie brush to remove clumps.Shape your eyebrows using a eyebrow comb, fill in any sparse area with dark eyebrow powder and wax.

Well this pic is me being totally vain but I couldn't resist posting it ;D

I've kept the look very clean and simple, obviously you can glam it up more, with faux lashes, gold accents on the lower lash-line and gold glitter dust.

Hope you enjoyed this look, watch out for more bridal eye makeup looks coming up soon.
Ciao
