INGLOT EYESHADOW DS 457 REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Unless you were a fan of Organic Chmistry (which I was not!) chances are you'd hate the boring, uninspiring numbering of Inglot shadows.
Whenever I hear DS 457 / AMC 52 / P 407 ,I feel like I'm back in my Organic Chemistry class trying to decode H2SO4 or C7H6O3 Argh!!!
I mean when you are trying to shop for shadows online or do a makeup look you need to open up your Inglot's equivalent of Mendeleev's periodic table and figure out which shade fits under Shine/AMC/Matte/ Double Sparkle. Its easier to guess atomic weights of elements than to guess how the website eyeshadow swatch would finally turn out to be in real life!

So to liberate these gorgeous eyeshadows from the tyranny of Numbers I've decided to give respectable names to my Inglot eyeshadows. So I proclaim DS 457 hitherto shall be called 'Gold dust Coffee'

Okay now that I've played savior to my Inglot eyeshadow lets get on with the shade.

DS 457 a.k.a Gold Dust Coffee is a  hyper pigmented matte warm brown with gold sparkles.

This is essentially a matte shadow with gold reflects, superb color payoff and butter smooth texture. It doesn't turn muddy on blending, but the gold sparkles which add so much dimension to the eyeshadow, simply fall off upon application. The extremely soft powdery texture also results in a lot of fall off .

Swatched without any base, picture clicked in natural daylight
Its a great crease color and can be used to create a lot of neutral looks or smoky brown looks.
The square refill pan costs INR 300 /- for 2.7 grams and round pan costs INR 300/- for 1.6 grams.
These shadows are paraben free & not tested on animals.

Overall thoughts- The eyeshadow is gorgeous but needs a slightly sticky primer to keep the glitter from falling off. I've used it t create smoky brown looks. The result was stunning but the fall off is a downer.
Overall recommendation -Can Try

So if you had to give a name to DS 457 eyeshadow, what would it be?
