SAY GOODBYE TO DRY WINTER SKIN WITH VLCC PISTA MASSAGE CREAM

The Winter chill is slowly building up in Delhi and so is the accompanying dryness and flaky skin.Regular moisturizers just don't seem to work and skin needs deeper hydration.
Of late I'm using VLCC  Skin Defense Pista Massage Cream to soothe my dry skin.
Its a multi action cream meant to provide cellular protection and hydration to the skin and contains exotic ingredients like Pistachio, nutmeg to gove a radiant glow to the complexion
So let's get you the full dope on this cream which could be a savior in winter months.

The Packaging- The cream has got very boring (read fugly) packaging . The tub has a weird shade and color, I was a bit put off with the packaging.

 The ingredients-

The cream is a thick and rich and has pistachio green color, honestly the first time I saw the cream I was like " oh yuk what's this Martian goop doing in my face cream!!"

The cream is meant to be used for facial and massage purpose, I find it very very thick to use on its own. I mix it with a little rose water / water to dilute the cream.

Blending the cream takes lot of massaging as its very thick and doesn't gets soaked in the skin quickly.
Result- smooth, soft and deeply hydrated skin
Price INR 170/- for 50 ml

Overall thoughts-Despite its not so pleasant packaging and color the cream is very effective in soothing very dry & dehydrated skin. Its great for facial purpose as well.My mom who's been having extremely dry mature skin also used it and found instant relief from dryness.
The pista cream delivers on performance and I'd be re-buying it for rest of winters. Do try it and you are sure to like it.

Yes, as you said even I found the color of the cream a bit wierd. But I think it serves the purpose pretty well...

  4. Shweta- do let me know how it worked out for you. Though I must forewarn you the cream's green colors turn more scary after it dries up a bit in the tub.. it works but definitely not the prettiest cream in town
