MAC PAINT POT INDIANWOOD REVIEW AND SWATCHES

Ever wished for the Midas touch- with MAC Indianwood paintpot you can be little Miss Goldfinger and do transformational looks.
MAC Paintpots are highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners.

The packaging is typical MAC- sleek, stylish & sturdy priced at INR 1100 for 5 grams its part of the permanent collection.

The Ingredients-

The Shade- Indianwood is metallic antique bronze gold shade which has frost finish. It goes on smooth as butter and dries quickly to a dry long staying finish. The shimmer in the paintpot is so finely milled that it gives off a metallic look.I absolutely adore the shade, one can do a whole range of looks with this as a base.
Its also one of those shades which would suit wide variety of skin tones, especially Indian girls would love it as it looks stunning against deeper skin tones.
The lasting power of the paintpot is amazing-It is waterproof, smudge proof & transfer resistant,I tested a swatch on my wrist & it stayed on for over 18 hours!!! On my oily lids it survives 12 hour plus (without a base).

The swatch- The paintpot can be applied using a eyeshadow brush or your fingertips, the slightest quantity is more than enough to apply evenly on eyelids.

Overall thoughts I'm in love with Indianwood, its amazing on its own for everyday wear as an all over lid color. Its fabulous as a base and looks gorgeous when paired with other deeper shades. It can be a great base for a lot of bridal / wedding makeup looks.
Though it is pricey, the versatility & utility of this pot makes it worthwhile. Would highly recommend it!
