MILANI BAKED BRONZER GLOW (Psst... its a great dupe for MAC MSF)

A bronzing powder that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracota tiles. It is easy to use, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous, enhancing the purity of the skin. This hi-tech bronzer gives you a perfect streak free radiant look.

For ages I'd been looking for a peachy gold tinted bronzer which was light enough to be used as a highlighter. The shade I had been lusting after was MAC Mineralize skin finish in Shimpagne but it was a limited edition piece & no longer available.
So when I chanced upon Milani Baked Bronzer in shade called Glow,it appeared to me as manna from heaven.
Milani Cosmetics are available on www.cherryculture.com and these Baked bronzers come in 3 graduating shades from light to dark(Glow -Lightest, Soleil- medium dark & Golden-Darkest shade), with the shimmery finish in all three with varying depth of underlying color.

The packaging is sturdy gold compact casing which includes mirror & flat applicator brush.

These do not look the skin muddy like many bronzers these leave your skin flushed with healthy glow. The bronzers have marbleized finish and can be used dry for sheer luminous finish application or wet for intense look.

Directions to use- Glide brush over color and lightly tap off excess powder. Lightly apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose and blend well for a sun-kissed look. To use wet (only for shimmer shades), lightly put water on brush and glide brush over color, then apply to cheeks, forehead, chin and/or nose
The pan contains 7 gram of product. The size of the compact is REALLY BIG, check out the comparative picture with NYX cream blusher next to it & you would know what I mean.

You can pick Milani Baked bronzers for $ 8.99 (plush shipping) from Cherryculture / ebay.
I'm very happy with my purchase , if you have tried these out, do share your experience.

  2. Hi Shalini, good to hear from you. Yup these are shimmery, but not the shiny disco ball kind of shimmer the base color is peachy and its very muted.Only the gold veins you see in the bronzer which add the golden shimmer. When applied with a light hand 4-5 swipes also won't leave too much of shimmer. Its very wearable, check out the swatch on the wrist I've posted above :)
