EYES OF THE DAY- SHADED ORCHID AND ROYAL ASSASSIN

Hey everyone, I'd been planning to do some eye looks with Glamour doll eyeshadow (GDE) sample baggies and finally my plans fructify. I've done a purple themed eyes in this look and I decided to use GDE shaded Orchid and Royal Assassin.

Here's a quick break down of the look

Primer-Use any you have at hand
For inner corner & highlighting-Deborah Milano Eyeshadow trio-Black Dalia (Else any shimmery white highlighter will do)
Maybelline Volume Colossal Mascara
Cellophane tape- To give precise winged look

Start by priming your eyes and concealing any dark circles under your eyes. Then take a small strip of cellphane tape and remove its stickiness (adhesion) by patting it on the back of you hand,so it doesn;t tug the delicate skin around your eyes.

Start with inner corner of your eyes and apply a shimmery white eyeshadow and gradually spread it to the eyelids (make sure its still in the inner corners & not on the entire eyelid). The using another clean brush apply Shaded Orchid on the center of your eyelids gradually extending to the outer corners. Apply the eyeshadow is patting motion, so the fall out is minimum.

Use another brush pick up GDE Royal Assassin & starting from the outer corners apply it by using a defining cut crease motion (do not make this very harsh else it will look OTT), gradually blend both the shades, using a slightly wet brush apply Shaded Orchid as an eyeliner (leaving out the inner corner area).

Apply GDE Shaded Orchid on the lower lash line (leaving out the inner corner), use Mayelline Eyestudio purple liner to line outer corner of the lower lash line.
Use an eyelash curler followed by Mascara.I used Maybelline Colossal Mascara. And Ta da- you are done. Enjoy your purple eye look.

These snaps were clicked in-doors, in the night with flash, so true vibrancy of the shades is not coming out. This is a dramatic purple look so avoid wearing this during daytime. be careful while applying Royal Assassin on the crease, too harsh a line will give drag-queen effect!

Hope you enjoyed this, if you have tried out this look, do tell me how it worked out for you.
XOXO
