120 EYESHADOW PALETTE REVIEW

Hey everyone, I finally received my much awaited 120 Eyeshadow palette. I'd ordered this through www.buyincoins.com and the package arrived in precisely 20 days.

120 eyeshadow palette has been a staple of beauty youtubers for eons and I'd been planning to buy this one for over 6 months.I loved the whole bunch of vibrant colors in this palette but was skeptical if this will be of much use to me so I had bought 88 metal mania palette instead which had a more wearable shade selection.

However, my heart was set on the 120 eyeshadow palette and when I checked out www.buyincoins.com I was pleasantly surprised to see no shipping charges to India and I placed my order in a jiffy & Boy am I glad!?

For starters the casing of the palette is a sturdy matte black which I quite like, the palette opens up and has two stacked trays of 60 eyeshadows each, the size of now extinct 25 paisa coin.

Three eyeshadows were broken in the palette during shipping-a black, metallic gold and a shimmery mustard yellow.Thankfully these did not smear the other shades much and could be cleaned easily. I pressed the 2 broken yellow shadows back in tot he pan, but these wouldn't travel well & will have permanent residence on my dresser.

The palette has a fabulous color selection and has matte & shimmery and satin texture. I personally found the shimmery shades highly pigmented & vibrant. These are great for a makeup newbie & a pro alike as you dont need to invest in individual pans for shades which you might use on regular basis (riotous fuschia, brilliant yellow, parrot green... you get the idea..)

Another interesting thing about this palette is it has 6 marbleized eyeshadows in a row, the shimmery blues amongst these are gorgeous, the matte ones not so.

All in all ,I'm very happy with the palette and at $ 12.6/- (Approx INR 570/-) for 120 shades its a steal any which way you do the math.

I'll be posting the swatches in next post 'coz this post becoming very pic heavy.

Ciao :)

  3. Hi IBC, the colors look awesome!
Do you have an idea about a trustworthy ebay seller from whom I can get the eye pallete.
Of late I have heard buy in coins is taking ages for shipping, so looking for alternative :)

  4. Uzma glad you liked it, 120 eyeshadow palette is a great buy, I'm honestly amazed at the quality & pigmentation.
Thanks to free shipping Buyincoins.com is the lowest price at which you can get this. Also I received the package in 20 days.Anything I've bought off ebay (shipped from Hongkong /China) takes 1 month to get delivered. However if you are still keen on buying from Ebay, look for Highly rated sellers with feedback scores above 99% and filter basis the price (including shipping/)you should be able to find what you are looking for. Hope this helps :)

    1. Ritika you can buy the 120 palette from either www.ebay.com or from www.buyincoins.com.
Buyincoins offers huge variety of eyeshadow palette & free international shipping, the price is cheapest there.Their shipping does take time and also there is chance of some broken shadows. You will need a paypal id to shop from ebay/buyincoins.
To sign up for paypal you'd need a credit card, PAN card number, email id and the shipping address of the product has to be the same as credit card billing address.Go to paypal site create your account first and then you can buy this off ebay or buyincoins.com. hope this helps

  9. I can't tell if you just scooped the loose powder back into the pot or actually pressed it again. But if you didn't press it, you can easily do so by dripping some rubbing alcohol into the pot and letting it dry again. If you want you can put a coin of the same size into the pot as well to press it again. but rubbing alcohol should make it solid again on it's own. :)

    1. Thanks for the great tip! I just pressed the shadows with a small clean coin and it worked out well :)

    2. Yeah. If shadows are really broken into 5734853945 pieces you can create a paste and repress them like new.

You can also use this tip to create pressed powder out of loose powder. :)

    1. Hi Akshita, I wasnt charged customs on this parcel, though it's a matter of chance usually small parcels are not charged by customs others they might. My suggestion order only few items in one go.

  11. Hey...yeah, did u have to pay customs?

    1. Hi Apoorva! No I didn't have to pay any customs on the palette, there a quite a few mattes in the palettes though I don't remember the count, in general the pigmentation of matte shadows is average,if u r keen only on matte shadows I suggest u explore brands like inglot and sleek makeup which have better pigmentation in matte shadows
