The first thing that caught my eye about this face pack was the unique packaging.It comes in a cute ceramic jar with wooden lid & wooden mini spoon to scoop out the face pack powder.

Directions to use- For dry skin mix 1 spoonful of face pack with milk & curd for oily skin.Apply on face,neck & arms in upward direction.Leave on for 7-8 minutes.Wash off with lukewarm water.

Its good for people with oily & combination skin as it actually gives a nice matte finish to the skin after application.

 I had read some rave reviews & thought of testing this out myself. I'd ordered Lacura Q10 anti wrinkle night cream off ebay.com & 2 jars of it were promptly delivered in 7 days flat! The product packaging is typical German - efficient & no-nonsense. It has a solid glass jar with blue plastic cap. Definitely sturdy.

I've used this product for past about a week & I'm loving it. I've been using it as a day cream as well 'coz its light & doesn't feel heavy or greasy. This cream has a rich, creamy blend of coenzyme Q10, retinol, vitamins E and F and pro vitamin B5.

It's easily absorbed leaving skin soft & supple. This claims to  helping slow skin aging, correct lines and wrinkles and protect against aging environmental factors. I'm under 30 & don't have any visible wrinkles yet, but I'm loving this cream.

It has a nice soothing fragrance, a blend of elder blossoms, blended with wonderful extracts like babassu and chamomile.nothing over powering This works as a great base for your makeup also. These are not tested on animals & is dermatologically tested.

These are a definite buy, the quality is par excellence and the pricing just makes it a steal. Go for it girls.

COLORBAR EYESHADOW MIDNIGHT BLUE is a shimmery deep blue eyeshadow. It comes in 8 other shades detailed below.

The packaging is cute with a separate section provided for applicator & tiny mirror. The applicator is no good for actual usage. The color is quite pigmented when i swatch it on my finger tip but somehow doesn't transfer as well on the eyelids. I've swatched below without any primer you can see the difference in the color pay off on the finger tip & wrist.It is still a good shade if you want to do use it on the crease area while doing smoky blue eyes. INGLOT FREEDOM SYSTEM LIP PALETTE SHADES 43, 58,78

INGLOT FREEDOM SYSTEM LIP PALETTE are available for INR 1200/- for 3 pans. Each pan is of 1.2 grams costing INR 300/- and the magnetic casing costs INR 300/- which is re-usable.The casing is the same as freedom eye palette, which I'd reviewed earlier you can read the review through this link

The freedom system has 3 / 5/ 10 pan palettes hence you can have a wider selection in one case of you chose to.I chose 2 brown lip colors which have earthy terracotta tones and one nude lippie. These are extremely pigmented and very rich & creamy. The colors have nice satin feel & no shimmer. These last for 4 hours on the lips and leave a hint of color upon fading but do not stain the lips.These are paraben free & not tested on animal.Also these lippies smell delicious no heavy waxy smell at all.


There are 90 shades available in the round lippies & finalizing the ones you want is a tough task... too tempting a shade selection.I don't remember the shade numbers I chose as I got my palette made on the spot.

MAYBELLINE SHINE SEDUCTION GLOSSY LIPCOLOR-MOCHA FIX

MAYBELLINE SHINE SEDUCTION GLOSSY LIPCOLOR-MOCHA FIX has been  a staple in Maybelline counters in India for quite a long while though has been discontinued internationally.

This is the 3rd tube of Mocha fix that I'm using so you can well imagine how much I like this.Its shimmery glazed brown shade is perfect for my pigmented lips.The shade looks darker in the tube but has a sheer glossy finish.Priced at INR 289 for 2.4 ml tube.

The packaging is fancier as compared to regular fare from Maybelline.I like the hygiene factor of this lip gloss applicator thanks to twist up mechanism only the product that is used is dispensed and tip is plastic so no icky dirty spongy applicator for this lippie.
Downside is that lot of lippie is wasted towards the end as the twist upmechanism doesn't allow the entire lip gloss to be used.Its available across Maybelline counters across India.

LAKME NINE TO FIVE DEFINING EYELINER JADE

LAKME NINE TO FIVE DEFINING EYELINER JADE is a beautiful jewel toned eyeliner in a retractable sleek tube.The retractable mechanism makes it very easy to use the eyeliner time & again without the bother of sharpening.The color is quite intense & it glides on smoothly for a well defined look. The eyeliner is smudge free for hours (though it would last 4-5 hours than actual 9 to 5 schedule).

The eyeliner is manufactured in Germany & costs INR 299 for 0.35 Grams (quite steep for the quantity).

You can wear it as an eyeliner or you can softly smudge it across the lids for a smoky look.There are 5 shades available in this range.Do check out the swatches below.

FLORMAR NAIL POLISH & NEON NAIL POLISH FOR NAIL ART

I'd picked this FLORMAR NAIL POLISH SHADE 320 from NEW U outlet. This is a deep pink with a  matte finish. Its a dupe of Revlon's Top Speed Quick Dry shade called Mulberry.

The nail polish is priced at INR 70 for 13 ml bottle.This is manufactured in Turkey & is toluene free.

I must admit I'm pretty surprised by the high quality of the Flormar nail polish. I quite like the sleek shape of the bottle. The best feature of this polish is the applicator wand. It has a nice tapered handle which makes holding the applicator quite easy, also the bristles of the applicator brush are long & shaped very well and I've found this applicator miles ahead of Lakme`,Colorbar, Revlon & Maybelline nail polishes.

Flormar has limited nail polish selection available at New U outlets however they have a Neon range with the boldest nail paints I have seen, which would be perfect for those of you in to Nail art.
